Happy Thanksgiving!

And I am thankful for family, health, snow, and poetry.

My thanks, too, to Rosebud magazine for sponsoring the William Stafford Poetry Award. I am thrilled to have my poem, "Inkwell" selected as a runner up for the prize. I was lucky enough to meet William Stafford at the Port Townsend Writers' Conference back in the late 1980s. He has been a light along my path ever since. It's an honor to participate in Rosebud's endeavor carried on with his name.
